James Croft

James Croft, inspired by both city life and nature, returned to his home county of Yorkshire and now lives in Sheffield with his two daughters and cactus plants. Influenced by French children's book illustration, especially in the way cars and characters are drawn, James creates artwork by hand, often digitally collaging the final image. His successful book Surprising Sharks won The Boston Globe Honours Award for non-fiction.
