Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, Amanda is a young illustrator who graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology with a major in Graphic Design. Her passion for the world of illustration began during her childhood, a love that deepened during her studies. As part of an undergraduate project, Amanda had the opportunity to illustrate some Indonesian poetry books. She has a knack for subtly infusing her drawings with perspective and shadows. Her illustrations can tell resonant stories even with minimal colors. Amanda draws inspiration from childhood daydreams and a fondness for movies resulting in imaginative and adventurous artwork. She mainly draws using digital medium although she sometimes uses traditional medium such as gouache and pencil color for her exploration.
