Alyssa Babasa was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. Self-taught as an artist, she is also a homegrown advertising art director. Skilled in digital media, she also loves to play with gouache, colored pencils, and embroidery. Her work is inspired by women’s stories, childhood, food, and mundane life. She proudly represented the Philippines at the Young Lions Print Competition in Cannes in 2017.
