Agata Dudek And Gosia Nowak-Zurek

Agata Dudek and Małgorzata Nowak-Żurek are a Warsaw-based creative duo that specializes in illustration and book design. They both graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where they met, became friends and started working together in 2012. They collaborate with both domestic and international publishers on projects in various markets, including editorial and books, posters, packaging, textiles, and murals.

In illustration they most value a good idea, working with colour, combining analogue and digital techniques… and cats! ;) Their style combines the tradition of the Polish school of illustration and the kitsch aesthetics of the 1990s. In 2021, Acapulco Studio won the Nami Green Island Award for illustrations for the book Nolens Volens by Druganoga.

In 2024, their two books Butelka taty (by Widnokrąg) and Pa, pa, baloniku! (by Druganoga) were awarded The Braw Amazing Bookshelf at the Bologna Children's Book Fair.
