Desta was born and raised in Sukabumi, Indonesia. He graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology in 2020 with a major in multimedia. His love for illustration began when he took part in a children's book illustration workshop held by Room to Read in 2018. Since college, Desta has enjoyed using digital media to create illustrations. Desta is someone who finds it difficult to express his feelings, so he developed a "visual journaling" initiative project to help convey his feelings through illustrations and writing. He enjoys working on illustration projects related to mental health and fantasy, forever dreaming of spreading happiness through his work. View Full Bio
