Buse Kaçar at World Illustration Awards 2024 Jun 07 2024

We're extremely glad to announce that our Yeon artist Buse Kaçar has been longlisted in the World Illustration Awards 2024, under the 'Design Product and Packaging' category! 

The World Illustration Awards (WIA) is a global celebration of illustration, presented by the Association of Illustrators (AOI) in partnership with the Directory of Illustration. The awards are independently judged and feature artwork from international artists with diverse views and experiences. The 'Design Product and Packaging' category is 1 out of the 10 categories and we're proud to see Buse's work being longlisted. 

Her work is titled 'All About Emotions' and is an activity kit that helps children to understand their emotions and cope appropriately. The adorable characters allow the children to visibly understand what certain expressions mean and how they can relieve themselves of the negative emotions. Currently based in Germany, our artist Buse Kaçar is an illustrator from Istanbul, Turkey. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Plastic Arts & Painting. Buse's work mainly focuses on children's toys, books, and puzzles, and the editorial markets. She aspires to create art to celebrate cultural diversity and to craft a world free from bias. Buse has been a part of several international exhibitions and was a finalist in the Golden Pinwheel 2023 in the commercial category. We can't wait to see more of her projects being published soon!
