We are happy to debut another new artist, Valeria Valenza ! Valeria Valenza is our Italian artist who has a dream in becoming an illustrator since at a very young age. She specialized in using different mediums including both traditional and digital ways of creating her works.

Valeria was born in Cagliari in 1977 and grew up in a lovely seaside town but moved to Bologna in 2001 where she still lives with her crazy family and 2 marvellous cats. She decided to become an illustrator at the age of 4 during a birthday party and has never stopped drawing since this moment. She adores to invent characters and stories around them mixing different materials, traditional and digital but she has always with her her little notebook and a black pen to sketch everything she sees, smells or hears. Valeria’s illustrations were selected for the 2005-2009-2010’s edition of Bologna book fair while she has also participated in several exhibitions around the world. Additionally she is a toy designer and holds illustration workshops in schools. Valeria’s super power is imagining the impossible.
