"Marisa is an illustrator based in Madrid, Spain. She lived in Barcelona for a couple of years where she completed a MA in Illustration at Eina School in Barcelona in 2009. After a few years working as an Art Director in several advertising agencies, she decided to quit and concentrate on becoming a full time freelance illustrator. So far, she has worked with several international clients in the editorial, publishing and advertising industries. Since 2017 her work has focused on illustrating children's books and since then she has been published by Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Nosy Crow, Sterling or Little Tiger Press, among others. In her spare time, Marisa practice yoga, play with gouache and enjoy lemon pies at her favourite local cake shop."
