"My name is Ksenia and I am an illustrator from Russia. I'm studying ceramics now but became interested in illustration a few years ago. I realized that I found what I want to do all my life. I want to become better and achieve creative success in this profession. I draw my illustrations in a digital format (Procreate, Photoshop). I like to use different textures in my works, it makes them more lively. Most of all I like to create interesting characters and convey their unique personality. I think that illustration and cinema have a lot in common, and characters, as actors, must be expressive and charismatic for the audience to believe them. I try to make my illustrations help readers immerse themselves in the book's atmosphere."
