Sofia Cavallari is an illustrator based in Rome, where she grew up drawing dragons and other animals. She studied Illustration and Animation at the European Institute of Design in Rome, and her BA thesis, a graphic novel called “Il Giardino”, was published by Edizioni NPE in Italy. Sofia also earned an MA in communication design from Kingston University, London, which she pursued while working as a freelance illustrator for digital and editorial publications. Sofia's illustrations often feature nature and fantasy. She pays special attention to color and composition. Sofia usually works digitally but she enjoys painting characters and views from her travels with gouache. She has had the opportunity to work on a range of projects from app illustration to children's books and graphic novels, and she is always happy to work on projects that make a positive impact in the world.
