Welcome to Mariia Furdei, the latest addition to the Yeon roster! 

Mariia is a Ukrainian illustrator and art teacher based in California, USA. She has had a lifelong love for drawing and art ever since she found her mom’s lipstick and made her first drawings on the wall! Her fun and whimsical style can take children on a journey to a candy planet, through an enchanted forest, and into a deep ocean cafe.

Mariia's work is mostly done using digital media, though she teaches art to children using traditional materials. She came to the illustration field from software development and has since been illustrating books for clients across the globe. Mariia is a member of the Children’s Illustrators Society.
