Alessandra Canu was born on the island of Sardinia in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea.
She has always had a strong passion for art, music, and fantasy novels. She attended the Fine Arts Academy on her native island before she moved to northeastern Italy, where she earned a degree in English and German Languages and Literature. Alessandra developed a new interest in young adult and children's illustration in 2020 and has since collaborated with various publishing houses from around the world.
She loves working on projects related to magic and mystery. She also enjoys creating designs for sophisticated products, such as the collectible coins she designed for the Lithuanian Mint.
