Artist Feature: Linhan Huang Oct 14 2024

Introducing the lovely Linhan Huang, our latest addition to Yeon Agency.

Linhan Huang was born in Chongqing, China, and now lives in Chengdu in the Sichuan Province. She's loved drawing since she was a child, and has taught herself all about drawing from books and the Internet. She's experimented with many ways to express herself in painting, looking for her own style. She prefers digital painting, because the works are easy to modify.

Linhan won the China Animation & Comic Competition (CACC) Golden Dragon Award in 2017, was selected for the first China Animation Exhibition in 2018, and published four children's picture books between 2020 and 2021. She is inspired by life and wonderful stories, and by growing up reading comic books and anime. Her favorite comic book is《Gon》, a wordless Japanese comic that taught her the charm of imagery. It changed her perception of picture books. The first movie that shook her was The Lion King, in third grade. She cried for a long time in the cinema.
