Artist Feature: Alvaro del Castillo Jul 26 2024

We're excited to feature our latest artist, Alvaro del Castillo! 

Alvaro is a multidisciplinary artist, graphic designer, illustrator and creative director from Cali, Colombia, now based in Spain.

Alvaro has more than 19 years of experience in illustration. After graduating from a graphic design degree in 2009, he founded La Imaginada Studio. Influenced by the power of stickers, he started his own stationery brand, for which he enjoys developing projects full of magic and everyday moments while collaborating with prominent organisations and companies to create impactful visuals for environmental campaigns and editorial projects.

Alvaro is extremely passionate about biodiversity conservation and social justice and strives to reflect these values in his work. His style is influenced by the vibrant culture of his country and inspired by the exuberance of its fauna, flora and rhythm, as well as by the warm light of southern Spain.

Alvaro’s goal is to infuse hope and joy into every project. He has been recognised with several Clap, Anuaria and Pelikanor awards.
