Artist Features

Welcome Libby Liang, our new Yeon artist!

Libby Liang is an illustrator based just outside Hong Kong. She creates illustrations, character designs, and short animations. Her designs are mostly digital, capturing gentle, warm and nostalgic vibes with a multitude of textures.

With a great passion for illustration, she self-learned digital techniques when majoring in foreign language studies at university, and started receiving commercial commissions during her senior year. Before graduating, she was hired by one of the companies that collaborated with her, where she worked as a graphic designer for four years.

Honing her illustration style on self-initiated projects in her spare time, she became a freelance illustrator in 2020 and has enjoyed working for emerging brands and local stores since then.

As a huge lover of children’s literature, you will often find her listening to great classic stories, such as Little Prince, Winnie the Pooh, Moomin and many more. These classics have become the magical way to stimulate her creativity and influence her illustrations.
