Jenny Meilihove is a children's book author-illustrator, born in Russia but raised in Israel. As a child, Jenny developed a love for storytelling and art. She went on to study Illustration at the prestigious Bezalel Academy of Arts & Design in Jerusalem, where she graduated with excellence. With over 10 years of experience as an illustrator, Jenny has had the pleasure of working on numerous children's books, newspapers, and games for kids. She has published two books as an author-illustrator and is currently working on her third. Jenny's illustrations are colorful and naive, and she strives to convey stories, feelings, and emotions through her work. Her illustrations often feature new, magical characters living in a dreamy world. She enjoys working with a variety of materials, including gouache, crayons, colored pencils, inks, and digital tools. When she's not creating, Jenny loves to spend time in nature, observing the beauty of flowers and tiny creatures flying around, watching the big sky, and inventing funny stories based on the shapes of clouds. She also enjoys watching Wes Anderson movies and reading children's books, both old and new.View Full Bio
