Han Miu was born in Singapore to a household filled with art and music and a sunlit balcony just big enough to fit a child’s desk and a dream. Nevertheless, she always thought she would go into the sciences, and mostly drew biology diagrams until a chance conversation with a stranger encouraged her to apply to art school.
Upon graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design, she was fortunate enough to land a job that allowed her to travel extensively. The world was full of simple yet magical experiences, and using a combination of digital 3D and 2D methods, she began crafting little scenes that captured those slice-of-life moments.
Miu currently resides in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, restoring her parents’ home and hoping to one day decorate it as colorfully as she does the environments in her illustrations.View Full Bio
