David Thio was born in Cianjur, a small town in Indonesia. As a child, he was interested in and inspired by the mix of cultures there, especially mythologies. He loves drawing stories that introduce people to these cultures, but he also enjoys illustrating fantasy stories. Since graduating in 2014, he has had many different illustration-related jobs, including t-shirt designer and caricature artist. In 2017, David decided to become a children’s book illustrator and has since illustrated 17 books. David is also a content creator on YouTube with a channel called Dilectum.View Full Bio
