Cristina Calderoni was born and still lives in Turin, Italy. She graduated from the Artistic High School there and specialized in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts. Cristina worked as a multimedia graphic designer until 1997. She dedicated herself to painting for many years and became a member of the Promotrice of Fine Arts in Turin in 2004. She discovered her passion for illustration after attending a three-year illustration course with Cinzia Ghigliano. In 2017, Cristina attended a summer school in Macerata, held by illustrator Marco Soma. She graduated from Ard in Fabula Master’s in editorial illustration in 2021. Among traditional painting techniques, Cristina prefers to work in watercolor, colored pencils, pastels, and acrylic paints. Due to her experience, she is fascinated by digital painting, which she combines with traditional coloring techniques.View Full Bio
